We bought ours, when we had bad storm with downed trees. The power was out, so I bought a Honda EU2000. It powered the electric chain saw. We use it rarely for camping, but it is comfort to know you have backup power when you need it.
RE: Small Trailer Forum?
I am for a small trailer forum. I think anything smaller than 25 foot would qualify. We own a 2003, 19 foot aerolite. We used to have a 15 foot Scamp. I miss it. The Aerolite seems like a mansion in comparison. But my wife needs the large fridge.

With a 3/4 ton truck, like yours, you don't need an anti sway bar.
I tow a 19 foot trailer with a 1/2 ton Silverado. It has been stable
in the mountains, in the desert, in the wind etc. This heavy
truck holds this little trailer easily.
RE: Should water pump be really loud?
Mine was loud too. I noticed that a stiff hose, coming from the pump, was touching the wall, banging like a drum when it ran. I replaced the hose with a softer one and put a curve in it and also kept it from touching the wall. This helped.
